About Steve's Computer and Web Service, LLC
After spending close to 18 years in the Healthcare Industry. I was given an opportunity to help others with their personal computers, printers, and setting up their wireless network. I decided this was a path that I wanted to pursue. Hence, I created a Computer Service and Web Design Business serving Kansas City's Northland.
After I obtained my CompTia A + certification IT technician, I explored other avenues of the IT industry and I came across Web Site Design and Development. Then my plan to start up a small business started to evolve.
The idea to create a Computer and Web Service Company was solidified when an office manger's PC could not properly display the Web Site I created, due to an outdated operating system.
Several Computer solutions were implemented and the following Results occurred:
- Added and configured an external hard drive to back up the manager's PC
- After back up, updated the PC's Operating System
- Defragmented PC's hard drive to improve reading and accessing data
- Manager's PC properly displays new website
- Reduced manager's concern in losing data during PC updates
- Reduced expenses in having another company update her PC's operating system
- Updating the PC's operating system reduces risk of malicious software affecting computer's data and performance
- Defragmenting the PC's hard drive improved reading and acessing software programs
This positive experience gave me insight to create my Computer Service, Web Design Business, and my Mission Statement below.
